I Will Not Be Forgotten, The Dignity in Homelessness
November 7, 2024 - January 31, 2025
Marin Civic Center
1st and 3rd Floor Galleries

Featuring the work of San Rafael photographer Lea Del Pomo, the exhibit includes some 50 photographs documenting the life of being homeless, the places called home, the newly housed, and the outreach efforts to those on the streets by local agencies. Client’s stories in their own words will be installed adjacent to their photograph.

The intent of the exhibit is to break down what stands in the way for the viewer to see our commonality; dispel the myth that people choose to be homeless and live on the streets; spotlight the people, their dignity, and their struggles with homelessness; and as a result, show the successes, strides, and accomplishments that are made through personal connection.
